Chinese fill the textile city in Italy (HS 1.5.2016)

HS released on May 1.5. an article from the small Italian town of Prato, which in a couple of decades has turned 90,000 Chinese factory workers - now Chinese-owned - into low-cost textile factories.
The working conditions at the factories are rather vague and there is no guarantee of paying taxes. However, the authorities are not willing to intervene.
If things go to the current model, such a scenario is possible in Finland as well. In the autumn, EK is apparently incapable of negotiating collective agreements, meaning that TESs are flying in the rubbish bin and may be replaced by workplace-specific contracts. We also talk about free work samples. All of this suggests that labor enslavement is becoming easier in Finland.
So SKA is not opposed to Chinese investments in Finland - just afraid that under the guise of investments, people will be enslaved.
